Adise Mekonnen – KEY NOTE SPEAKER

Born in November 22/1966 in Southern Ethiopia, (Hossana), Educated in Addis Ababa University, BSC in Geology, (Feb.1989), MSC in Geochemistry- Petrology and Mineralogy (Aug.2006) and other short term on job trainings.

Worked for more than 20 years, form Junior to senior geologist level in the Geological Survey of Ethiopia (GSE) and Ministry of Mines of Ethiopia, different Private Companies. On par time bases as professional freelancer and teaching in universities, as professional consultant geologist in reconnaissance, exploration and feasibility study of any mineral.

Currently working as Chief Geologist, for Bua Obsa Mineral Development Share Company, engaged in Mining and Marketing of Emerald, Tantalum, and Gold
