ABOUT WES 2018
The 2nd edition of the World Emerald Symposium continues the successful series of events which started in 2015. This 2nd WES will take place between 12-14 October 2018 in Bogotá, Colombia. The event also coincides with the 20th anniversary of Fedesmeraldas, the National Emerald Trade Association.
Today we are seeing the powerful impact of disruption to almost every industry and how it redefines the rules of the market. During the course of the three day symposium, world-renowned speakers, stakeholders and international participants will reveal new opportunities and discuss the most pressing issues facing the emerald industry, including changes in the wake of technological advances, consumer education, security, marketing, and branding.
